Why the Internet?

We know that there are so many more important things to be getting on with when running a Christian church, or organisation. And we love to get involved with the cause at ground level; but the reality is that if we fail to engage with our brothers and sisters online in the places where they are at, then we are in danger of missing an opportunity.

Pope Francis in his 48th World Communications Day,  speaks about ‘Communication at the Service of an Authentic Culture of Encounter’.
He mentions that the internet ‘offers immense possibilities for encounter and solidarity. This is something truly good, a gift from God’.
